Performance Contractor’s Texas Region Workforce Development manager, Chad Whetro, was named 2019 CMEF Committee Chair of the year at the 2020 ABC CMEF inaugural celebration. Chad’s leadership and dedication to workforce development was recognized by his peers in the construction industry. The Construction Maintenance and Education Foundation (CMEF) is the 501(c)3 training arm of Associated Builders and Contractors Greater Houston Chapter. CMEF’s mission is to develop and administer cost-effective training, skills assessment, and other workforce development programs that will increase the quality and availability of construction and maintenance employees, communicate career opportunities, promote a positive image for the industry, and satisfy the needs of Owners, Contractors and their employees in the Greater Houston area.
