The Greater Baton Rouge Industry Alliance (GBRIA) celebrated 50 years of workforce development at their 2020 awards ceremony. Performance Contractors was honored to receive the Award of Excellence in the General Construction and Maintenance Contractor Division III for our workforce development efforts. We recognize that our people are our greatest asset, and continue to prioritize investing time and resources in developing our industry's workforce. GBRIA's program has been designed to promote best practices to improve the skills and retention of craft personnel in the region and to recognize and reward contractors, member plants, schools, educators and other individuals who contribute to recruitment, assessment, training, career path education and retention efforts.
