Performance Contractors values a strong workforce and rewards loyal employees with an excellent benefits package. Attracting the brightest candidates and retaining quality minded employees has allowed Performance Contractors to deliver consistent work from a pool of over 8,000 qualified craftsmen, employees and professional staff.
We've incorporated years of historical project and cost data to build a  sophisticated estimating system. Performance's estimating management programs are comprised of industry experienced individuals with decades of company experience paired with Construction Management /Technology Degreed personnel. This detailed estimating philosophy supports the company's productive field execution culture.
Our planning and scheduling staff—at the home offices or on-site—monitor all field activities with customized plans to meet client needs and project requirements. We utilize a number of cost and scheduling software programs allowing the flexibility to maximize productivity while conserving resources.
All of our projects are predicated upon our construction management philosophies to provide each client a safe and quality controlled program of construction, or maintenance, identifying value through definitive purchasing and manpower production. This is done in a teamwork structure focusing on project management along with each internal department, all of which come together to support the successful execution of each and every project.
Performance Contractors financially supports Technical Craft Training at area High Schools in Louisiana, Alabama and Texas. States where we have Divisional Office Locations provide the backdrop of our company’s support and recruitment of High School Graduates to our industry as a whole, and hopefully directly to Performance Contractors. Sponsored high schools utilize NCCER Curriculum to insure efficient transition to post graduate training while maintaining full-time industry employment.
We strongly support craft training programs for our employees, and we rely on this effort to enhance the skill level of not only our employees but the overall industry as well. Craft training for our future as well as current employees is provided through the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER).
Integrated accounting and project management systems generate real-time project management data—equipment tracking, general ledger, human resource, job status, payroll, purchase order and reporting ensuring excellent cost control on every project.
An extensive construction equipment fleet supports all project needs and are routinely maintained to provide productive and safe equipment for job site use. Our fleet has cranes that can support up to 200 tons for the most demanding jobs.
